The 2 Mukhi Rudraksh is considered the combined form of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. It has two natural lines on its facets. According to ancient mythology, Lord Brahma blessed the two gods to be so close that they ended up melting into each other. Since rudraksh is very close to Lord Shiva, it is considered as the incarnation of Lord Shiva and worn by multiple people in Asia and and across. It represents lord Ardhanarishvara which is half made and half female. Just like any other gemstones rudraksh is also ruled by a planet. Its ruling planet is the Moon.
